PCB Changes Venue of ODI and T20I Series Against Australia |
Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has chosen to move the white-ball leg of the Australia series to Gaddafi Stadium Lahore keeping in view the current political shakiness in Rawalpindi and Islamabad.
As indicated by the first timetable, ODIs and the oddball T20 global were to be played in Rawalpindi, yet PCB uncovered that they have conceived Plan An and B for the rest of the series because of the political vulnerability in Islamabad.
The political temperature in Pakistan has as of late warmed up with the resistance groups holding hands to oust Imran Khan and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) from power and revitalizes, fights, and set-ins are normal from ideological groups in Islamabad.
Presently each of the three ODI matches and a T20 worldwide will be played at Gaddafi Stadium Lahore from March 29 to April 04. It is to make reference to here that both the groups showed up in Lahore on Thursday where they will play the last Test match.
It is relevant to make reference to that prior today, PCB had explained that both the cricket sheets are in close contact, while Cricket Australia has mentioned no criticisms over the choice. The Australian crew for ODIs and T20I series will arrive at Lahore on March 24.
