Boss Minister Punjab, Sardar Usman Buzdar, on Monday, endorsed the employing of 70,000 Arabic educators for necessary instructing of the Holy Quran in schools across the region.
The School Education Department (SED) had presented a proposition in such manner, which was endorsed during the common bureau's gathering on Monday.
The instruction office Secretary, Ghulam Fareed, told a media source that the current Arabic instructors were being prepared for the educating of the Holy Quran in government funded schools, while the new opportunities had been made for grades 1 to 5.
The Lahore High Court (LHC) had ordered the necessary instructing of the Holy Quran in December 2020. The progression came as an execution of the Punjab Compulsory Teaching of Holy Quran Act, 2018.
